Privacy

This is a reading site. It is deliberately built to need as little information about you as possible — particularly given the subject matter.

No accounts, no profiles

You can read everything on this site without signing in. We do not create user accounts, build reader profiles, or require an email address to access any page.

No advertising or affiliate tracking

There are no advertising pixels, retargeting tags or affiliate tracking links anywhere on this site, because we take no vendor money. No third party is paying us to observe what you read here.

Messages you send us

If you contact us through the enquiry form or by email at info@apedra.org, we see what you choose to put in the message — typically a name, an email address and your enquiry. We use it to respond and, where relevant, to check a correction request. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell, rent or share contact details.

Sensitive information

Please do not send us medical records, test results or details of personal substance use. We cannot give individual medical advice, so that information cannot help us help you — take it to a clinician instead.

Hosting and technical logs

Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical request logs. We do not use those logs to identify individual readers.

Links to vendor sites

Where we name a vendor's web address, that site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control and do not vouch for.

Questions about any of this can go through our contact page.
